Hill's Pool Service has been a fixture in the Bay Area since 1964, when Herb Hill founded the company in San Francisco. From the start, Herb built his business on three things: hard work, honest dealing, and pride in every job. That foundation attracted loyal customers and set a standard that still guides the company today.
Herb's son Jerry grew up in the trade, working alongside his father starting at age 16. He learned every aspect of the business from the ground up, and when the time came, he carried those same values forward. What Jerry inherited wasn't just a company — it was a reputation earned one pool at a time over decades of reliable service.
What started as a pool cleaning operation has grown into a full-service company. We handle everything from routine service and repairs to pool remodels, new construction, leak detection, automation, lighting, deck work, and start-ups. If it involves a pool, we do it — and we do it right the first time.
Our team includes veterans who bring discipline and attention to detail to every job. Our General Manager is a veteran as well, and that culture of accountability runs through everything we do. Customers across the Peninsula and Bay Area trust us because we show up, we communicate, and we stand behind our work.
